1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using QuietGood ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and QuietGood. By using the App you also agree to our Privacy Notice, which describes how we collect and use your data.

2. The service

QuietGood is a personal gratitude journaling application that allows you to record daily reflections, track your journaling streak, and review past entries. The App is provided free of charge with no advertisements.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

3. Accounts

To use QuietGood, you must create an account using one of the supported sign-in methods (email, Apple ID, or Google). You are responsible for:

You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings. Upon account deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Notice.

4. Your content

You retain full ownership of any content you create within QuietGood, including your gratitude entries, preferences, and profile information ("Your Content").

By using the App, you grant us a limited licence to store, transmit, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not access, read, analyse, or use Your Content for any other purpose.

Your entries are yours. We never read, sell, or share your personal reflections with anyone.

The App, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and other materials (excluding Your Content), is owned by QuietGood and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our prior written consent.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

QuietGood is a journaling tool, not a substitute for professional medical or mental health advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, QuietGood shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which is zero, as the App is free).

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

For significant changes, we may notify you through the App. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

11. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
